Here are some samples of my work.
Samurai Jack Post Production Project
In 2 parts:
- Sound Effects demo: 0:00 - 4:10
- Music Editing demo: 4:10 - 6:20
- All the sound effects were done in foley. They were recorded with a Zoom H4 via a Behringer field mixer and various mics (Shure SM57, Shure VP64A, and an AKG large diaphragm condenser). All the dialog was me.
- All the environmental effects (wind, water, birds, etc.) and the gong cues are from BBC and Sound Ideas libraries with a couple Japanese birds from online sources.
- All the music is from library gong effects and 10 different soundtrack sources mixed together in many transitions.
- Except for the foley recording, everything was mixed in Sony Vegas 7.
This is a 6:20 clip of Samurai Jack, Episode XIX with the audio completely redone. All the audio in this video is from scratch with nothing from the original stereo track. The video edit has been kept intact.
Music Mixing Demos
These are two tracks from a 9-song studio session where I recorded a folk/rock band called North Woods. Each track was recorded on a Yamaha digital console and Mackie MDR and mixed in Sony Vegas 7 with some mastering in Pro Tools 8.

Ableton Demo
This is the first song I have constructed with Ableton 8. I started with a rock beat and then added some chords and an improv melody. Finally I added vocoder and distortion effects to reduce some of the MIDI sound.
